May 29, 2026, Linyi, China — Shandong Kangyu Pipe Industry Co., Ltd., a professional manufacturer of PE and PPR pipes and fittings, has officially completed and launched its large-scale rooftop photovoltaic power project. The entire 3MW distributed solar power system finished installation and grid commissioning on May 29, 2026, realizing full closed-loop photovoltaic power generation for the production base.
With a total installed capacity of 3 megawatts, the solar panels are fully deployed on the rooftops of production workshops, finished product warehouses and raw material storage areas. Making full use of idle factory space and superior lighting conditions, the system can generate 1.2 million kWh of clean green electricity annually.
All generated power is primarily used for internal factory operation, supporting automated pipe production lines, precision testing equipment, office facilities and daily plant electricity consumption. Excess power is uploaded to the public grid, forming an efficient self-use and grid-supplementary green power cycle.
